Hello viewers, we welcome you to a brand new programme called Meghalaya Frontliners. A programme which brings to you stories of empowerment, selfless service, best practices and success stories from the grassroots in addressing key developmental concerns in the State of Meghalaya. To ensure effective participation of the rural and urban folks in solving key developmental issues, the State Government launched the State Capability Enhancement Project (SCEP) in 2020 and since then, great strides have been achieved in the field of health, nutrition and effective natural resource management, among others.
In each of our episodes, we will highlight inspiring stories from the field featuring our ‘Real Heroes’ – that is, our frontline workers. Be it in the field of Health, Natural Resource Management or any other domain, it is high time that we acknowledge and applaud the contribution of our frontline workers. And this programme aims to do just that. The programme ‘Meghalaya Frontliners’ is a flagship initiative by the Office of Development Commissioner, SCEP, in partnership with Doordarshan Kendra, Meghalaya.
