The Government Innovation Lab (GIL) in Meghalaya represents an institutional approach to solving complex development challenges through innovation, collaboration, and adaptive problem-solving. Built on the learnings of the State Capability Enhancement Project (SCEP), it focuses on strengthening governance systems by using data, local insights, and cross-sector partnerships to design and implement practical, people-centered solutions across sectors like health, environment, and livelihoods.
